I advocate for Google Cloud on policy issues for financial services, supporting business outcomes with a regulatory and supervisory focus. To do so, I leverage my experience in the financial industry on subjects of digital transformation. Covering cloud computing, digital platforms and Distributed Ledger Technology, I engaged for European banks with EU policy makers and stakeholders. Position building and advocacy target a future-proof regulatory framework for digital finance and cross-industry cooperation. Being a lawyer with background of EU law, I have extensive work experience as a policy advisor in industry associations, representing the financial sector. Starting in Berlin and moving to Brussels, I followed the digital transformation in banking, advancing my portfolio from traditional retail issues to digital topics at the forefront of European leadership: digital operational resilience, crypto-assets, regulatory level playing field and fair competition.
