Julie Shuttleworth leads the promotion of new Global Growth for Fortescue and Fortescue Future Industries, across metals and green energy. Previously CEO of Fortescue Future Industries, and Deputy CEO of Fortescue Metals Group, Julie joined Fortescue in 2013 and has also held General Manager roles at both Fortescue’s Cloudbreak and Solomon mines. Julie has 28 years experience in mining, resources and renewable energy globally, and holds a double major in Extractive Metallurgy (Mineral Processing) and Chemistry. Julie is a Fellow and Chartered Professional of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2021 for her significant service to the minerals and mining sector.
