He currently works as the Global Digital Scientist at GoGlobalRetail.com overseeing projects, doing budget audits and performing feasibility reviews. Before that he was the Global Chief Technology Office at Billabong a well known surf brand. Prior to that he was the Global Director of Omni Commerce Systems at Luxottica, a leading eyewear conglomerate. Before that he was the Director of eCommerce and Retail Systems at J.Crew, a worldwide top 30 internet retailer in terms of volume, transactions and revenue. Earlier to that he was Director of eCommerce at Saks Fifth Avenue; and part of the eCommerce technology teams at Barnes and Noble and Time Warner prior to that. He has spoken about technology at Netsuite Suite World, NRF, Oracle OpenWorld, Endeca Discover, Escalate Retail conferences. His education was in Computer Science, a Masters at McGill University and a Bachelors from Oberlin College. In 1995 he was featured in Time magazine for his exemplary knowledge of international affairs.
