With professional experience of 25 years in ICT, Kamran Ahsan brings demonstrated achievements in building, transforming and accelerating business plans by propelling technological, financial and people performance. He offers a unique combination of technology and business acumen with a credible track-record in serving public and private sectors and service provider organizations in the Middle East, North America and Pakistan. He specializes in strategic planning, product development, GTM execution, curating synergy through partnerships, customer advocacy and acquisitions for multi-fold growth. A senior leader of e& enterprise, Kamran built the Cybersecurity business from ground-up, grew the practice in six years with 20X revenue, architected a strategic acquisition and successfully led the M&A integration process resulting in 25% market share. In 2020, he served as a CTO of UAE Trade Connect (UTC), UAE's first and only national trade finance network powered by Blockchain (DLT) and AI. He and his team built technology, security and operations units and successfully industrialized the platform. In his current role, Kamran is tasked with establishing and running the AI & Smart Data Business managing strategy, GTM, data science and architecture teams. He is building AI capabilities around people, platforms, portfolio and partnerships - an ecosystem powered by a CoE, composed of a unique service stack and geared for delivering verticalized AI Solutions with faster time to value and measurable ROI. Earlier in his career, Kamran served Injazat Data Systems where he founded the Security Office, achieved ISO 27001 for the region’s first Tier IV Data Center and rolled-out managed security service offerings During his tenure with Govt. of Ontario, Canada as Security Architect & Integrator, he designed and delivered security blueprints for ministries under electronic government mandate, then called, “e-Ontario”. Kamran earned a Masters in Applied Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from University of Toronto, Canada. Prior to that, Kamran achieved his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from NED University, Pakistan post which he served as Senior Executive Engineer in Siemens, delivering locally manufactured products for company’s B2B segment. Kamran has been a frequent keynote speaker on Digital Transformation, Cyber Security and AI in local and international summits. Kamran is a Certified CISO, a Certified Payment Card Industry Security Implementer and holds professional certifications in ISO 27001 and IT Governance (COBIT).
