A focussed, high-energy and results-driven executive, Karen is COO at Moneybox, an award-winning Series D saving and investing app that is helping over 1 million customers build wealth with confidence. Previously she was COO at Seedrs as it scaled from start-up to leading equity crowdfunding platform, which exited through a $100 million sale. Whilst at Seedrs she was also Director of the UK Crowdfunding Association, and was instrumental in lobbying for regulatory change and industry development. Karen is passionate about the potential for technology in financial services. A former-lawyer and an innovative thinker, she was on the founding Exec Co of the Disruptive GC Network and participates in various advisory boards for tech scale-up initiatives. Karen has been named in the GC Powerlist, one of the top women in fintech by Innovate Finance, UK in-house individual of the year in the Finance sector by Legal 500, and one of Brummell Magazines Inspirational Women City Innovators.
