BUSINESS LEADER - BOARD & AUDIT COMMITTEE MEMBER - CLO/GENERAL COUNSEL & SECTY A seasoned senior executive and innovation leader, Katherine is known for building high-performance teams and delivering results in a complex, matrixed global organization. Katherine has held diverse executive management roles within Toyota Financial Services (TFS), the largest captive automobile finance company in North America and the largest non-bank financial institution in the United States, including General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, Head of Compliance & Audit, and Head of North American Indirect Procurement. In addition, Katherine built an innovation practice within TFS that fosters creativity & innovation in the organization. Currently, Katherine is serving as Chief Strategist for Banking and Chief Legal Adviser (banking) to Affirm Holdings, a fintech company focused on point of sale financing and as an advisory board member for MoBi Consortium, a consortium focused on leveraging blockchain to increase mobility for cities & communities. Substantive experience spans a wide breadth of issues, including M&A, product development, advertising, marketing, SEC disclosures, cybersecurity, privacy, government enforcement, crisis management, government affairs, SOX compliance, treasury funding and consumer finance, third party oversight and compliance. A frequent speaker at industry, legal and women's conferences, Katherine has been recognized by organizations as diverse as Auto Finance News, Girls Scouts of America and is an alumni of DirectWomen's 2019 Institute. Katherine is also committed to the community having served on the board of Levitt & Quinn, a non-profit family law center, and the Dallas Theatre Center, a regional theatrical company.
