I advise multiemployer and corporate employee benefit plan sponsors on a variety of issues, including compliance and plan and trust design and administration. I have a range of experience with the federal laws that apply to health and welfare plans, including the Affordable Care Act, the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, COBRA, HIPAA, and other laws that affect employee benefit plans (the Internal Revenue Code, Medicare, FMLA, ADA, etc.). I also work with corporate and multiemployer sponsors on their qualified retirement plans, including employee stock ownership plans, other defined contribution plans (such as 401(k) plans), and pension plans.
