A culturally-engaged writer, editor, brand strategist and foresight director with almost two decades of experience, both in-brand and agency side, within a host of progressive businesses across the retail, fashion, design, publishing and media sectors. I’m currently Content Director at Stylus Innovation & Advisory - a leading global futures agency that provides strategic cultural intelligence to companies across the consumer facing industries. I head up all our analysis regarding Retail & Brand Communications and Pop Culture & Media, helping brands to successfully navigate the current landscape and reimagine what comes next. I'm also a senior contributor to Forbes.com where I specialise in retail strategy, innovation and commercial culture (spotlighting visionary thinking and new brands frontiers in sectors as diverse as sports, style and sex) and a curator working with businesses such as the Frieze Academy. I’ve delivered keynote talks at conferences and institutions including Decoded Fashion, Decoded Future, Unbound, Amsterdam International Fashion Institute (AMFI), Retail Design Expo, International Retail Design Conference (IRDC), Somerset House and Fashion & Textile Museum, London. I’m also a regular contributor to SHOWstudio.com; a founding member of London College of Fashion’s future-scoping think-tank, Digital Anthropology Lab and an expert contributor to new generation educator/career accelerator, Mastered. I also regularly host industry events - moderating panel sessions, chairing ‘fireside’ Q&A debate and anchoring multi-speaker summits. As an author I've produced two books on visual culture - Stylists: New Fashion Visionaries (2012) and Fashion + Music: Fashion Creatives Shaping Pop Culture (2016), both by Laurence King Publishing.
