Bio

Katy is a Sustainability Executive with 20 years of experience leading diverse high-impact teams to solve complex problems at the intersection of technology, business strategy, sustainability and design. She is a thought leader and mentor to start-ups and rising professionals. Katy is also a seasoned professional public speaker, trained negotiator and conflict resolution practitioner. She is an accredited LEED Green Associate and holds several patents for sustainability related innovations. In giving back to the community, Katy developed Exponential Education, an open source program bringing moonshot projects to K-12 schools and programs. She has trained over a 1,000 kids and educators across the globe to think big and solve for problems like climate change.
