I am a digital nomad managing ventures in the games and technology realm.

I deeply believe in a people-centric and culture-first approach to be the key to success in any business.

Until recently the CEO of Paladin Studios in the Netherlands, leading an amazing team working on top notch IP in games. I lead teams, and mentor individuals. I build and grow businesses in the digital world, games and interactive entertainment and technology, because it’s my passion for 25 years and counting.
Founder of Walking Squid Advisory, an executive consultancy in the digital media, entertainment, and tech space. Projects range from a start-up company in the art/film space (Business strategy and Marketing) and a global F2P MMO games company (Marketing, Strategy and Operational Management of all aspects of running a live MMO game) to a healthcare technology solutions provider.

Walking Squid also serves as investment vehicle for angel and pre-seed rounds. I am part of several angel syndicates around the world, and have some limited bandwidth to be involved more directly with startups in the digital, games and tech realm.
Currently one of my priority interest is food tech, especially vegan and sustainable focussed companies.
Recently served as GM for Perfect World Europe B.V., responsible for managing and expanding business, team and portfolio.

Previously CEO of a technology start-up focussed on digital distribution for Free-to-Play games, based on proprietary, progressive download and streaming technology. Lead Series A funding round in North America and South East Asia. Served on the Group Executive Committee for Frogster as GM Frogster America, as well as board member for startup companies in Europe and North America.
Over 2 decades of Computer Games Industry Experience with successful assignments in all areas of the production process, licensing, sales and marketing on PC, console and mobile.

Speaker and Panelist on games and media related topics at high-profile events around the globe like GDC mobile, Pocketgamer Connects, GC and XML. Member of several advisory boards in Games and Media related organizations like Dubai World Games.
