As an innovative leader and transformative brand builder, Kendra Bracken-Ferguson leads with the mindset of an entrepreneur and intrapreneur having built a business experience portfolio that expands brand development, strategic planning, operations, acquisition, investment, board membership, and C-suite leadership. Kendra has helped create, build, and monetize over 200 influencer-driven brands from idea inception to acquisition through data-led strategies that have successfully generated over $100M in revenue through e-commerce and retail. She is the co-Founder of Digital Brand Architects and Founder of BrainTrust, social media and brand development agency. In October 2021, Kendra launched BrainTrust Founders Studio to provide an ecosystem of mentorship, education, and community for Black Beauty and Wellness Founders. In March 2022, she co-founded BrainTrust Fund 1 to invest Black Founders. She is former Interim CEO of rē•spin, a health and wellness platform launched in 2020 that she helped create and launch. In an interview in Shape Magazine; Kendra shared, ''Two Black women doing something that hasn't been done in this way is exciting. We're democratizing the space for health and wellness information because the research, the education, and the access to people of color is disproportionate.'' Kendra co-founded BeautyUnited with the goal to make the beauty industry a more diverse and inclusive place. Kendra is the host of Business of the Beat, an innovative beauty and wellness podcast with an emphasis on diversifying the people of color we see leading the future of the industry. She was named one of Essence Magazine's “Inspiring Black Executives Redefining The Face Of Beauty”, member of Cosmetics Executive Women, named Glossy 50, Ulta Muse 100, advisor to Blushington, member of DealMakeHers, Female Founder Collective; Board Member of Cayton Children’s Museum. Kendra has an endowment at her alma mater, Purdue University for a Black female freshman student.
