I am a strategic, collaborative, agile, and battle-tested Senior Executive who builds and leads teams involving both public and private companies in hyper-competitive industries. I have demonstrated success in business restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and corporate real estate as well as governmental, community, industry and corporate affairs. I have extensive experience in brand revitalization, revenue diversification, cost reductions, contract negotiations, and legal/legislative disputes. As a thoughtful, strategic leader, and trusted decision maker, I have successfully confronted and overcome both domestic and international business, economic, and industry challenges. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: ➤ Restructured and revitalized an 80-year old privately held company returning it to sustained profitability and leading to its subsequent sale and integration into a large publicly traded company. ➤ Restructured AA’s Real Estate portfolio, securing $1.2 Billion in tax exempt debt savings and an additional $46.4 Million in annual operating savings, generating 50% more in savings than originally targeted ➤ Resolved the decades old legal and legislative battle over flight restrictions at Love Field (known as the Wright Amendment) by leading negotiations and securing subsequent congressional approval of a historic 5-party agreement between American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, the City of Dallas, the City of Fort Worth, and DFW International Airport. ➤ Generated unprecedented federal, state, and community support for AA’s Joint Business Agreements with Japan Airlines and British Airways, ultimately leading to federal antitrust approval of both Agreements. ➤ Led the financing of DFW Airport’s $2.7 Billion Capital Development Plan resulting in the successful construction and the on-time opening of new runways, terminals, and a people-mover system. ➤ Led DFW’s crisis management efforts through the financial, operational, and security challenges associated with 9/11. ➤ Actively contributing to the community serving on multiple civic, philanthropic and community Boards.
