Bio

I am an inveterate public speaker who loves the opportunity to travel around the world, learning and sharing knowledge along the way. This knowledge often revolves around SQL Server, R, .NET (F# and C# both, but always F#), and Python. My current interests are in data science in general, and anomaly detection in particular. I've authored one book, PolyBase Revealed (https://www.apress.com/us/book/9781484254608) and have developed trainings on a variety of platforms. Thanks to my background in economics, I have a good background with regression models. Thanks to my outstanding team, I've learned more about natural language processing than I thought I ever would. My career experience has been split between the health care and e-commerce verticals. I have a background in accounting and finance as well.
