Bio

Kevin is a Chartered Engineer with 30 years experience in roads and transportation engineering. He has experience in a wide range of disciplines including road network management and maintenance, asset management, traffic and parking management, transportation policy and planning, scheme implementation, research and road safety engineering. Kevin is also an experienced Road Safety Auditor, holds a Highways Agency approved Certificate of Competency. Whilst working for TRL Limited, he managed a range of research projects, some of which were published, for both central and local government.. He is a past Chair of the Central and Southern Scotland Branch of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and is currently a professional reviewer for CIHT. He has given lectures on Road Safety and Traffic Management as part of PTRC's 'Principles of Traffic and Transport' series.
