I build, grow, lead, and scale teams that engage with developers — working cross-functionally in organizations to connect and nurture positive and lasting relationships with developer communities (SaaS and open source). I am a Developer Experience and Developer Relations strategist, people leader, and player-coach focused on building and scaling groups that contribute meaningfully to overall business goals. I measure DevEx and build DevRel operations using frameworks that I developed, including the Developer Empowerment Flywheel and Keystone DevRel Metrics (https://devrelmetrics.tech). I implement metrics automation by engineering open source Slack Apps. I am an experienced developer, engineering manager, and an international public speaker. I mentor and sponsor under-represented developers and engineers who are looking to get into DevRel. I advise, speak, and write about career advancement and leadership. I also craft handmade, highly detailed miniatures, dioramas, and artisan keycaps for mechanical keyboards.
