Bio

Business is the art of education, and within the next few paragraphs, I intend to share a bit about myself as a professional and how my background has shaped me into who I am today. I have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and I enjoy sharing my love for complex problems with co-workers and students alike. It is that same complexity and intellectual challenge that had initially drawn me to math. When hearing this, it is easy to assume that my strength is quantitative in nature, but in reality, I am a professional that can solve complex problems in an ambiguous space. During my tenure as an educator, I was taught by my students the significance of being a sound leader that can communicate, emulate, and execute the mission at hand. Combine that range of skills and expertise with a salient mastery of presentation dynamics, and you have a professional not afraid of rigorous questioning as well as a hardened veteran of marketing to a crowd mostly uninterested in the product being sold. Inherently, as a lifelong learner and educator, and problem-solving buff, I am a firm advocate of the secret art of listening. This applies to my leadership style of making informed decisions about the direction of my department, organization, or on occasion, my classroom. In that same light, I am always open to a good cup of coffee with other professionals at home or abroad. Hopefully, three paragraphs later of reading has offered a glimpse into my character. Thank you for reading, and by all means, connect! Personal Goals: Volunteer at a minimum, 10 hours a month Speak at a local high or middle school a minimum of 2 times a year (Teaching is in my blood!) Become active as a mentor Do lunch/coffee with other professionals at least 2 times a month
