My scientific research spans a broad range of areas in, both, physics and engineering - from nanoscience, quantum condensed matter photonics and metamaterials to 'slow' and 'fast' light, invisibility cloaking and nonequilibrium complex systems. I strive to advance fundamental and technological knowledge and applications in the above interdisciplinary scientific fields, while being dedicated to guiding young students and researchers, as well as collaborating with scientists worldwide. I also have a past editorial experience at Nature Publishing Group, where I worked as an associate editor in Nature Materials.
