Passionate, 27-year leader of media professionals, with a true love of the communications business. Experienced leading and running an agency business and building and inspiring teams large and small, across many areas of discipline. Have held numerous agency leadership, media leadership, client relationship and growth roles and responsibilities. Effective at building custom organizational and commercial solutions for clients and importantly, operationalizing them across agency and partner entities. Have led and won several integrated media/communications pitches. Experienced at accelerating client marketing and business results by elevating the performance of brand, platform, and experience-driven media & advertising through the integration of (meaningful) data, analytic and strategic insight, technology & tools, innovation, and creativity. Honest, straight-shooting and direct, building confidence in all relationships. Love to mentor young professionals. Problem-solver, not a problem-thrower. Influential voice within the media industry. Currently a member of IAB’s Video Center of Excellence and Ad Club NY Board of Directors. 2007 Mediaweek “Media All Star.” 2012 named to the “Adweek 50,” as a key influencer in the ad industry. 2015 TV Week “Media Buyer of the Year.” Served as Chair of The Ad Council’s Broadcast TV Committee for over 5 years. Community commitment: Member Board of Directors, YMCA of Greater New York. Distinguished citizen service recognition by YMCA’s Arts and Letters Program (2015) and Robert Reisenbach Foundation (2014). Committee member on boards of YMCA Arts and Letters and National Kidney Foundation. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, personally incited “NY Media Cares” effort to inspire the media industry to help homeowners on Staten Island recover from severe damage; Lucky Husband to Courtnay Crivits and proud father of Amelia (17) and Henry (15).
