Kristen Lambert is a businesswoman, creative entrepreneur and founder of Third Piece, a community centered fashion brand bridging sustainability and craft through knitting. Born out of the desire to design beautifully crafted pieces with a focus on local production, her mission began to support and create opportunities for knitters in the Boston area. As an entrepreneur, she spent the last decade pursue her vision of building a fashion brand that is powered with people, prosperity and the planet in mind.
Third Piece began as an emerging fashion label carried in the renowned Henri Bendel and Bergdorf Goodman stores of Madison Avenue in NYC and soon expanded into pop-up shops to a brick and mortar retail stops in and around Boston. The brand is synonymous with the finest hand-crafted knitwear collections that are made through partnerships with knitters across New England or by you with our DIY Knit Kits.
In 2017, The Knitting School by Third Piece, an educational program for aspiring to experienced hand-knitters interested in learning foundational knitting techniques was launched. Our knitting classes (in-personal and virtual experiences) share the mindful and therapeutic benefits beyond the craft. Third Piece's Knitting School has taught thousands of people to knit in real life and virtually through our workshops and corporate wellness partnerships.
