Although my childhood ambition was to become a veterinarian, I somehow walked right past the Biology labs and landed in computer labs. I soon found my interest in technology became a career path. Is there a better industry for someone who loves to talk than Voice Over IP? After many years of evangelizing and sometimes force feeding VOIP, I feel like I found my niche. Providing purpose built Hosted PBX and SIP trunking solutions for the SMB market is my element. I can summarize what I do every day into two areas. 1) Translate our technology for prospective customers so the solution fits into their current business and adds value. I am a strong believer that implementing new technology into a business doesn’t have to be disruptive. 2) Or work with partners to layer our solutions into their current product offering. My objective is to add additional revenue stream without an extensive change to a partners’ core business. Of course, there are all the behind the scenes magic I manage everyday but launching new products, building complex IP telephony solutions and creating strategic partnerships is what get this VOIP girl excited every day!
