I currently serve as the EY-US East Region Market Segment Leader (MSL) and am responsible for driving the growth of EY's market share in the Real Estate, Hospitality, and Construction Sector. The real estate industry is the largest single sector in the world. Globally, real estate has been valued at over USD 280 trillion — a more valuable asset class than all worldwide stocks and securitized debt combined and represents the largest store of wealth at three and a half times the total global GDP. As the MSL, I am responsible for overseeing the Firm’s presence, services, and support in the region across all service lines including Assurance, Tax, Consulting, and Strategy and Transactions. In addition to my client-serving responsibilities, I serve as the Sustainability and ESG Leader Industry Group Co-Leader for Real Estate and am also the US-East Region ESG Leader for all industry groups. I am one of 16 elected members of the US-East Regional Partner Forum and serve and act as a sounding board to the Regional leadership teams. I proudly serve on the boards of SparkYouth NYC, a nonprofit that sponsors community-based programs for organizations in NYC that are focused on young people; Real Estate Executive Council, the premier trade association for minorities at executive levels in commercial real estate; and, William Newman Department of Real Estate (Baruch College). I am active in several trade associations, including the Real Estate Roundtable (President’s Council), Urban Land Institute, and Nareit. I am active in diversity and inclusion initiatives at EY and co-lead the NYC Inclusive Engagement and Development Initiative and am a member of the NYC Diversity and Inclusion Council.
