I’m Laura Beauparlant – the founder of Lab Creative, author of Brand Chemistry, the creator of Brand Camp and an award-winning international speaker. I’ve been through a lot in my life – including a car accident at the age of 18 that nearly killed me. Instead, it left me with a long road to recovery and a profound appreciation for my life and everything in it. Two decades later – as a wife, mom, and business owner – I met the man who held my hand and kept me conscious after my car accident. Meeting him was an unexpectedly pivotal moment that led me to realize I was meant for more. I decided I wanted to have an impact on millions of lives so I left behind the successful stationery and graphic design business I built over 12 years to do just that – and Lab Creative was born. Because of my experience I have a unique perspective on life, business, and mortality. I’m here to live a big, bold life filled with adventure, fun, love, vitality, connection, creativity, wealth, and impact. I believe this outlook is a key part of my unique brand of magic, and what draws such incredible clients my way. It is an honour and such a privilege to get to use my ‘chemistry’ to help other entrepreneurs discover, own and leverage their magic - allowing them to become happier, more fulfilled and prosperous business owners. I also love to share my message – about branding, life and the chemistry and magic of it all – from the stage as an award-winning public speaker. My home base is Toronto, Canada, however I’m currently living in Sicily with my husband (also an entrepreneur) and two school-aged boys for an epic 10-month adventure abroad. As you might have guessed, I’m an avid traveller with a bold, adventurous spirit!
