More than 20 years ago, Lauraine Bifulco was inspired to build a business that supported both her clients and their employees with the unique challenges they face, and to simplify the complexity of HR within their organizations. The result was Vantaggio HR ltd., a full-service HR consulting firm with offices in California and Hawaii. Since 1994, Lauraine has cultivated a diverse and talented team of self-described “HR geeks,” i.e. professionals that have a deep knowledge and love of the intricacies of the industry. Specifically, Vantaggio HR ltd. works with clients to create customizable plans in the areas of employment law compliance, resolving complex employee issues and implementing sound HR policies and procedures. A lifelong learner, Lauraine’s knowledge of HR makes her a sought-after industry expert as well as a seasoned professional speaker. She conducts numerous national seminars on HR topics with an emphasis on employment law compliance, and is frequently asked to co-speak with prominent employment law attorneys. The California Small Business Association has appointed her as chair of the Labor Issues Legislative Advisory Committee several years running and is a member of the Board of Directors. In recognition of her expertise and entrepreneurial nature, Lauraine was nominated for Ernst & Young's ''Entrepreneur of the Year'' award.
