I've spent 15 years building and breaking software. I started at Logica, building and supporting large enterprise software projects in the UK Public Sector. After an extended sabbatical studying and teaching in Mainland China, I realised my true passion is in Cybersecurity. I retrained as Penetration tester with ContexIS before joining Veracode to bootstrap their EMEA account base. For the past 4 years+ I have been building up the HackerOne EMEA and APAC operation starting as employee number 5. Today we are much bigger, and are always looking for passionate individuals to join our growing team! HackerOne was started by hackers and security leaders who are driven by a passion to make the internet safer. Our platform is the industry standard for hacker-powered security. We partner with the global hacker community to surface the most relevant security issues of our customers before they can be exploited by criminals. HackerOne is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in London and the Netherlands. Investors include Benchmark, New Enterprise Associates, Dragoneer Investments, and EQT Ventures. I spend my free time enjoying everything London has to offer, museums, galleries and meetups. During the pandemic I built a 3d printer, took up mandarin classes, and completed the Noma Book of Fermentation. I now make my own soy sauce.
