I bring 6+ years of experience as a risk engineering professional having worked in several Middle Eastern countries. I am presently performing loss prevention fieldwork and account consultancy for large-scale industrial, renewable energy, and special occupancies of RSA Middle East & DIFC (reinsurance operations). My specialty includes conducting high-hazard risk assessments & business resilience reviews of various types of occupancies largely for the insurance industry. My experience involves industrial loss prevention consulting, project consultation, process safety reviews, machinery breakdown risk assessment, fire protection system review and testing, etc. I am passionate about risk management of emerging risks like cybersecurity, multifaced technological risk consulting, etc. I have performed over three hundred risk consulting physical surveys and numerous remote risk assessments of different types of occupancies including chemical industries, renewable energy facilities, metal & manufacturing, pulp & paper industries, and special occupancies like airports, data centers & crypto data mining, entertainment & recreational type risks, and the likes. Additionally, I have been involved in project consultation like potline extensions in aluminum plants, solar power plants, printing presses, warehouses, mobile fuel delivery stations. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Safety Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India. I have completed RSA's risk engineering training programs for performing independent risk assessments as indicated above.
