What drives me is to leverage data / tech / artificial intelligence / analytics to solve real world problems and to contribute tangibly to the strategic transformation of companies. I also deeply care about diversity in tech. I am currently head of a data science team within the global RISK function of BNP Paribas. I joined late 2018 with the mandate to grow and establish the team. With my team, we have worked on many use cases to address risk management challenges with data and AI some of which already in production and generating tangible value. We are also investing in structural topics around the use of AI at scale : bias, explainability, auditability and the set up on an industrial development and deployment platform through MLOps practices. Before that I worked as a researcher and manager at IBM Research, first in the US and then to the newly-created Dublin lab, leading to projects, publications and patents. I got my PhD from Stanford and worked with both Cisco and General Motors during my doctoral studies. I also hold an HDR from Universite Paris Dauphine and I am a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussees.
