Lei (Larry) Sui, Head of Product Management for Panametrics Flow, is responsible for the ultrasonics flow product portfolio, including Flare, Process Gas, Steam, Clampon and Liquid Process. Lei owns the PL strategy, MGPP, New Product launches, CM, go to market strategy and product cost-outs. In addition, Lei is responsible for driving revenue and margin growth along with competitive positioning and new initiatives across the globe. Prior to this role, Lei held the Global Product Line Leader position for part of the flow portfolio, including flare solutions. Lei also acted as Sales Director for APAC for Measurement & Solutions, at Baker Hughes. Prior to that, Lei was the Global Technology Leader for Ultrasonic Flow at BHGE, where he led a multidisplinary and global team (US, China, India and Germany) to drive on the execution of New Products Introduction. Lei had been working across functions to develop new ultrasonic transducers and ultrasonic flow products for flare, steam, process gas and liquid applications. Before joining GE, Lei (Larry) Sui held the Ultrasound Research Scientist position at Saoirse Corp, a startup on MIT’s campus funded by DARPA. There, Lei developed an ultrasound-based hyperthermia system for drug delivery in vivo, and investigated the temperature elevation inside a rodent’s brain induced by high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). Lei Sui obtained both his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Mechanical Engineering Dept at Boston University. There, he taught two undergraduate-level engineering classes, “Engineering Mechanics” and ''CAD''. He holds several US Patents and has authored multiple white papers in the Industry.
