As a Partner in the Silicon Valley office of Next47, Lidiya invests in the areas of vertical software, enterprise, and deep tech. She focuses on both early and late-stage investments. Lidiya is especially passionate about the transformation of traditionally analog industries like manufacturing, construction, or logistics, which are now adopting new technology platforms. Lidiya joined Next47 in 2019 and serves as an observer on the boards of BuildOps and Wandelbots. She is an active mentor at several startup incubators and accelerators across the US and globally. Lidiya founded H^2, a Silicon Valley venture investor networking event, and often hosts founder and investor get-togethers. She has been featured at seminars as well as industry events by Stanford, TechCrunch, and All Raise, among others. Prior to joining Next47, Lidiya was a growth investor at G2 Venture Partners. She focused on emerging technologies in industrial verticals including transportation, logistics & supply chain, manufacturing, IoT, and energy. Prior to that, Lidiya spent two years leading a team of engineers at a startup in energy efficiency based in Indonesia. Lidiya grew up in Bulgaria and earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is trilingual in Enligh, Bulgarian, and German and enjoys traveling to new countries (50 and counting!).
