Lillian Ayla Ersoy has 16 years of experience as an award winning creative director, problem solver, strategic advisor and multi-disciplinary designer. Lillian is the co-founder and CEO of Novooi – a curated marketplace and agency, representing new contemporary Norwegian design and craft. She is an independent freelancer with a track record of creating award winning brand experiences for clients such as Innovation Norway, Norwegian Architects Association, IxDA Oslo, Roede, NAV, Oslo Region Alliance, Save the Children, Spleis and Sparebank 1. Lillian adopts Design Thinking methodology through co-creation, imagination, customer journeys and data driven design to create value for people and organizations. She structures and prioritizes different needs and possibilities in an explorative and holistic process. She leads design, content and development teams with an agile philosophy, while converting needs and ideas into concepts, products and services. Half Norwegian, half Turkish and raised in the United States; she is curious, complex and constantly exploring how we look at design, people, process, technology and that space in-between. Lillian is an active writer on Medium and lectures at universities/ conferences about IoT, Emotion-driven Design, Design Thinking and Lean UX. She is inspired by many cultures, beautiful craftsmanship and the magical world we live in. She lives in Oslo and considers herself a citizen of the world.
