My life’s journey has always been to improve everything that we do, far beyond what we think is possible. I founded and ran several highly disruptive tech companies in IoT, Databases, Music, and other. I’ve held senior executive positions such as Chief Innovation Officer for IBM, head of development and strategy at Element AI (any many other exec roles), have authored books, am a global keynote speaker, and am an all-around Disruptor & Innovator. At all times throughout the day, I am searching for meaningful ways for us to disrupt, innovate, and deploy technologies mindfully and with much more impact. I am so fortunate that each day, I get to work with major industry sectors, fantastic companies of all sizes and thinkers around the globe. My focus has always been on data, AI, IoT, analytics, and all the ways that data can shape our future. I believe that the major challenge in all enterprises is not just the identification and introduction of new technologies, not just innovation, but is what has fascinated me for decades: THE ART OF IMAGINATION! The biggest opportunity is often that of IMAGINING what your business (any business) could be, outside of the current parameters. Imagination is the growth mindset and mental permission (top-down and bottom-up) to envision a different roadmap. My focus is to work on and perfect the WHAT-IF phenomenon: Step I: Start IMAGINING the impossible. Imagine all the ways that data & AI, can shape and re-shape business. Step II: Realize that we can always obtain technology and skills, but imagination comes from within. Step III: Realize that we are not giving the business away or shrinking our revenue, rather we are creating major new sources of revenue. Step IV: Begin to map the Future-What-If Roadmap. Step V: Replace ‘lack-of-confidence’ internally with extraordinary ‘confidence.’ Step VI: Begin the process of helping an enterprise of any size and in any sector, think-like, feel-like, and be as excited as a startup and more. Step VII: Help shift and shape the new culture while preserving the best qualities. My passion is to disrupt and innovate across ALL industry sectors.
