Lisa Melo leads the enterprise Learning and Performance group, which designs and delivers innovative learning to help RBC’s 95,000 employees around the world do their best work. From formal future-focused skills programs to personalized learning courses, the curriculums designed by Lisa and her team enable employees to develop new skills and grow their careers at RBC to be successful in a rapidly changing world. Her team also orchestrates award-winning development programs such as RBC’s Career Launch Program, a one-year internship program that provides participants with networking opportunities and a solid foundation early in their careers. Lisa was previously in the role of VP, Reimagine HR and prior to that, VP Human Resources, Functions, and VP Human Resources Investor & Treasury Services leading a global HR team. Lisa brings a unique perspective to Human Resources having held both business and functional roles, beginning her career in retail banking before assuming more senior business and functional roles. An advocate for continuing education, Lisa earned her Masters of Business Administration from Dalhousie University in 2001.
