I’m known for being a collaborative technology leader focussed on finding a better way to deliver solutions. I’m unafraid to challenge the status quo in order to deliver positive outcomes. I currently lead the Cloud and Engineering Practice at Deloitte Australia. We design and build contemporary technology solutions using modern software practices that solve complex problems and enable strategic opportunities for our clients. I’m particularly passionate about creating professional environments where technical, analytical and creative people can excel. Throughout my career, I have enabled and promoted diversity in the technology sector, and specifically championing careers for women. I’ve been involved in several initiatives to advocate technology careers and continue to seek opportunities to champion this to a broad audience. I’ve led engineering teams for Coles, IAG and Medibank, have worked as a practicing software developer and an aerospace engineer. As a result, I have a view on what has an impact in tech teams, and what doesn’t. I’m currently a volunteer committee member for Berry Street, a not-for-profit that believes all children, young people and families should be safe, thriving and hopeful. I am a member of its IT Transformation committee, helping all board members to understand the technology design, performance and service delivery.
