I am an experienced and effective leader with 20 years’ experience across the civil service, local government and the charity sector. I bring strategic thinking to delivering better outcomes through: ● effective policy analysis, insight and development to inform strategic planning and shape service delivery ● effective partnership working across a diverse partnership and policy landscape ● an excellent understanding of the governance and regulatory requirements for charities ● ability to build trust with the senior team, professional, peers, the voluntary sector and the public ● considerable external and public affairs experience ● extensive programme management skills and experience of delivering complex programmes across partnerships, ● financial, performance and risk management skills ● a coaching leadership style I am an excellent communicator, with strong negotiating and influencing skills and a keen sense of political astuteness. I bring strong research and analytical skills, along with consultation/engagement skills, and a passion for ensuring that the voices and views of the people and communities we serve are central to our policy development and implementation. I think well on my feet, analyse and assimilate information quickly and offer a practical approach to problem solving. I am well motivated and hard working, with a positive ‘can do ‘attitude’.
