I’m a curious problem solver and boundary spanner. In this exciting role as Head of Innovation in a company committed to “Innovating to Help Everyone Live Well”, I will be working closely with the leadership team to discover and empower the superhero within each Prudential Singapore colleague. We will do this through upskilling and providing exposure to new ways of working. We will also embed processes that facilitate an innovation culture in Prudential, and will incubate promising new ideas. As we innovate, we will continue to co-create with the communities around us around the themes of skills, health and aging, amongst others. Because at the end of the day, it’s really about helping each one of us lead better, more meaningful lives, transforming communities and having loads of fun in the process. A lawyer by training, I am very excited about applying the rigour of disciplined analysis to the creative craft of innovation. I also look forward to experimenting and “failing forward” to the most appropriate solutions for Prudential - something Tsinghua/ INSEAD’s EMBA gave me a taste for. From my stint in Government Relations, I realised how very much I enjoy the dynamism and holistic solutions that come from co-creating with our community partners, and look forward to harnessing this energy to foster a stronger innovative culture in Prudential. When I’m not at work, I can be found - inventing career design games - volunteering with a charity that helps children and young people reach their potential.
