I've spent my whole career finding new ways for companies to collaborate using technology to create value. 14 years in FinTech. Currently extending digital reach of bank services - from within an actual bank for the first time. Collaboration with new financial services ecosystem partners. Investing in advanced technologies - BaaS & Embedded Finance, digital asset management, smart contracts - to create new 3rd party channels and drive customer growth & footprint expansion. My work has typically focused on the social benefits that mobile & financial services can bring to communities: financial health, access to finance, convenience and security. I have played key leadership roles for mobile financial services and payments transformations in banks, non‐bank financial services companies, and in partnership with mobile operators and vendors. Specialist in access to finance, the integration of mobile payments into verticals like agriculture, international money transfer, and payments system innovation. I have also extensively studied mobile’s role in gender issues and modern slavery. Until 2012, I led mobile financial services business development in PayPal and Nokia, developing a series of new payments initiatives addressing the needs of consumers in China, India, Pakistan, Russia, the EU, US, Nigeria, and Indonesia.
