Bio

I started Verta (https://verta.ai) based on my Ph.D. work at MIT CSAIL on systems for software to streamline the process of data science and machine learning, including ModelDB. Previously, I was a Ph.D. student in the Database Group at MIT. I work on systems for analysis of large scale data, specifically on making machine learning and visual analysis faster, interactive, and more efficient. Worked/interned at Twitter, Google, Facebook, and Microsoft. Recipient of the Facebook Ph.D. Fellowship and Google Anita Borg Fellowship.
