I serve as a technology leader, advisor, and applied research advocate of Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence, at the forefront of technological progress, to accelerate and empower innovation in business and science. In over 23 years in tech, I have enjoyed a distinct combination of deep technical R&D combining science and industry know-how, in both hands-on and executive roles, applied risk management, strategy consulting across different industries, government advisory, driving organizational change, policymaking, and public speaking opportunities. Currently, I am fortunate to combine my passion for quantum, AI, and value-driven industry innovation at IBM Quantum. Previously, I was converging AI with quantum R&D and strategy at Accenture, led AI in Banking Products for the world’s largest wealth manager, drove global AI governance and ethics operationalization, ran Quantum Computing readiness and training programs, served as a senior advisor on AI & Digital Transformation for international organizations and governments, led a high-security AI Cloud Platform for Managed Services in Switzerland, and for about 16 years I was fortunate to work as a researcher at the forefront of advancing science, high-performance computing systems, statistical learning algorithms running on these systems and building distributed software applications on top.
