I like to think of myself as a data psychologist: I tap into it, help itself reveal the hidden insights it contains, and deliver those to leverage them into the market. I am capable of turning raw data into a meaningful story that inspires business-critical solutions. To accomplish that, I use tools such as Python, MySQL Workbench, Tableau, and Excel. Customer analysis and segmentation, statistical modelling, A/B testing and machine learning for prediction and prescription are some of the skills under my belt. I am currently looking for meaningful, nourishing experience in a business in need of my skills to kick-start my career. I'm graduating from Ironhack's Data Analytics boot camp in March 2022, and I'm interested in a career in data analysis. Please feel free to get in touch with me via email at msolerjosa@gmail.com If you want to know more about who am I professionally, keep reading! I'm a fast-learner and logic thinker with a prominent curiosity: if I suspect I can optimize or improve anything, I'll look into it. Likewise, I am also good at assessing situations, most likely because of the jack-of-all-trades kind of knowledge I possess, which allows me to interpolate situations in different contexts. Proof of all this is the fact I was promoted to Fraud Monitoring & Prevention Manager of a team of 7 within the first 6 months of working in the company. Despite most Data-related positions tend to prefer a more quantitative background, I truly believe my background in Psychology adds value to my role as a Data Analyst. I feel like I can communicate intricate concepts across all knowledge levels, manage stakeholders' expectations identifying with them and report meaningful, key insights. Furthermore, in my major I have acquired rigour in experimental design, the ability to make nuanced interpretations of results and, above all, a profound understanding of a broad subject matter: human behaviour and its drivers. Thus, albeit I look forward to working directly with data, I see myself as a bridge between Business operations and the data needed to perform them, feeling comfortable mediating both domains and improving organization and coordination of projects.
