I'm a firm believer in the power of technology to drastically advance our living standards and wellbeing. I strive to catalyse such change. A recognised energy industry thought leader and executive, I use my platform to push the boundaries on accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy - including at TED conferences, the United Nations, One Young World and Forbes summits in recent years. Early in my career, I had an instrumental role in developing the first utility-scale commercial battery energy storage project in Europe. This system, one of the largest in the world at the time, was a force multiplier to the explosive growth of battery energy storage since then. More recently, I’ve played a key role in establishing and scaling multiple cleantech businesses into market leaders. This has included cultivating numerous strategic client partnerships, building high-performance teams, and negotiating and transacting on an energy storage technology, software and services fleet of over $500m. As a founding member and MD of energy storage tech company Fluence, I currently lead our regional energy storage business, overseeing sales of Fluence energy storage products, services and digital applications to utilities and project developers for Western Europe and Israel. Backed by two of the industry’s giants, AES and Siemens, Fluence (NASDAQ:FLNC) is transforming how we power our world. We have over 28GW of storage and digital applications contracted, deployed or under management in 44 markets. Fluence has been ranked the leading or #1 energy storage technology provider by all major analysts including Bloomberg, Guidehouse, Clean Horizon & IHS Markit. If you have a transaction-ready grid-scale project or fleet and need energy storage technology to fit, please reach out!
