Bio

An environmental scientist with a keen interest in working at the intersect of science and policy using nature's benefits to people and biodiversity conservation using ecosystem services approaches. I have adopted strongly local participatory approach in my research. This involves education, awareness creation, knowledge sharing, stakeholder engagement and development of short videos to highlight environmental problems facing communities living within and adjacent to these ecosystems as highlighted in one of my short videos (link www.youtube.com/watch?v=52cJM5ZwOc4). Creative and self-motivated individual with the ability to work in multicultural environments, meet tight deadlines and enjoy working with young people to ensure that they gain confidence in their research and work as they grow in their career through teaching and mentorship.
