I represent and advocate on behalf of contractors of all sizes working in UK infrastructure. With a strong profile at c-suite level within the construction industry, I bring the right people together to influence decisions and address challenges. I am an independent thinker, who is not afraid to challenge establish practice and encourage my team to always do so. I am extremely methodological in my approach, focusing on building good relationships with CECA members and staff, stakeholder organisations, politicians and civil servants. My core skills are: Business development; Supporting boards; Driving continuous improvement and best practice; Strategy development and delivery; Policy development; Internal and external communications; Media spokesperson; Stakeholder engagement; Project Management; Public Affairs; Public speaking; and Event organisation. My policy expertise currently focuses on roads, highways maintenance, procurement, business models, SME, payment issues, and the Construction Playbook. I am committed to developing a culture of Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) within my industry and am a FIR Ambassador. I was shortlisted for the UK Association Executive of the Year Award in 2021. In 2022 the CECA annual conference which I lead on was shortlisted as a finalist in the Conference and Events Awards in the following categories: - Best Association / Not for Profit Event - Best Virtual Event up to 1500 delegates
