Bio

As Business Director for Retail, Logistics & Mobility at the IT consultancy Lufthansa Industry Solutions, I manage a profit center with around 30 process and implementation specialists in Hamburg. I am passionate about data, analytics and artificial intelligence, and their successful implementation in companies. Together with my team, I advise our national clients such as Hamburger Hafen- und Logistik AG (HHLA) and Hamburger Hochbahn on modern IT technologies and classic software development and implementation. In 2016, I started as a Data Scientist at Lufthansa and subsequently led data-driven projects in the areas of logistics, automotive, public transport and air freight as a project manager. As a team player, I enjoy working with qualified colleagues at the forefront of technological developments and bringing this knowledge directly and sustainably to business enterprises. I am a natural scientist and completed my doctorate in astrophysics at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. During my academic career, I conducted research in the field of high-energy, nuclear and particle physics at renowned research institutes such as CERN in Geneva, GSI in Darmstadt, Dresden-Rossendorf, ESO and the Max Planck Institute (MPE) in Munich.
