I am a practicing Emergency Physician at the Rockyview Hospital and Foothills medical center a medical researcher with publications spanning diverse subject matter. I have a keen interest in mental health and spearheaded an initiative for Alberta emergency doctors to treat patients with opiate use disorder in the emergency department with buprenorphine/naloxone therapy. This program is now active in every emergency department in Alberta, the largest of its kind worldwide and has been used to treat thousands of patients. I am a co-founder and the acting president of ResolvMD a Calgary based company that is revolutionizing the field of medical billing to provide physicians with a digital billing coach, adding value to the medical billing experience. I am also a co-founder of The Newly Institute. The Newly Institute is building multiple clinics across the country to treat patients with depression, anxiety, addiction, chronic pain and PTSD using the best available evidence based tools including ART, DBT, CBT and psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. I have been honoured with multiple awards including the Nat Christie Entrance award as the top ranked applicant to University of Calgary Medical School, junior clinician of the year at the Foothills Hospital and Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40
