Senior IT manager currently working within data management • Managing a global and multi-location, multidisciplinary team of 400 developers • Accountable for both change and run budgets, deliverables and workforce supporting the data services organisation • Leading a large, complex matrix organisation to set the vision, strategy and goals for the data services platform • Maintaining a roadmap of capability and investment aligned to critical business needs and technology requirements • Identifying new opportunities for data platforms for internal stakeholders • Coordinating and complete migration of legacy databases to a shared, scalable data infrastructure • Leading the integration of teams, locations and continually improving the adoption of common standards to provide higher quality services at a lowered cost • Other key responsibilities include: Data technology governance, software engineering, design standards, operational management, and optimization of infrastructure in conjunction with the Head of Infrastructure.
