Bio

I'm Chief Technologist at Databricks and an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Stanford. During my PhD, I started the Apache Spark computing engine and developed other widely used open source data and ML software. I also recently started MLflow (https://mlflow.org), an open source machine learning platform, and work across many areas of the Databricks product.
