I fell in love with programming at six years old and have been passionate about pushing the boundaries of software ever since. When I was 10, I started the first email service in the 519 area code after experiencing the weeks-long propagation delays on FidoNet. A few years later I pushed my first production code in a chemical engineering plant when I was 15. Since then, I've been an early implementer of streaming radio, reverse-engineered Microsoft gaming SDKs, worked in quantitative finance, and built/managed teams to create beautiful products -- and the distributed systems behind them. I am currently focused on AI and Large Language Models. After discovering the enormous potential of LLMs, I created Cognosis to give developers a production-ready open-source platform to build LLM apps in Typescript.
