Matt Dumas is Managing Partner of Chasm Partners, an entrepreneurial talent capital platform focused exclusively on helping VC/PE backed healthcare technology and services companies scale through disruptive talent. The company provides retained search and talent management advisory services to investors, boards and management teams leveraging operations expertise in healthcare and digital health. The firm also takes equity positions in many of its clients. Prior to founding Chasm Partners, Matt was Partner/COO at Oxeon Partners, a retained search and investment boutique focused on healthcare technology. Before Oxeon, Matt came from WebMD where he served as SVP and Head of Marketing (CMO) for their Consumer Services division which includes the website, magazine and mobile assets. Prior to WebMD, Matt was Founder & Managing Director of Nielsen Health (formerly a start-up business unit of The Nielsen Company) and subsequently President & CEO of Deutsche Ventures, where he conceived and commercialized first ever data integration methods and analytic solutions that help healthcare marketers, payors and providers optimize their patient communication campaigns while accommodating complex challenges in a HIPAA regulated data environment. Earlier in his career, Matt spent ten years at Procter & Gamble, eight of which were in Frankfurt and Geneva developing and leading commercial expansion plans for several global packaged goods and consumer health brands. In total, Matt has personally led the qualification, launch and commercial expansion plans of 19 B2B and B2C business ventures in 14 countries. He is also actively involved in several start-ups as an angel investor and advisory board member. He also takes time out giving back to the community as a Manager and former Commissioner of Darien Little League (largest little league in the US), and active member of Trout Unlimited Mianus Chapter.
