A successful, ex-McKinsey & Company, strategy executive skilled at designing and implementing corporate strategy, growth strategy, business and partnership development. Expertise in heavy industry, environmental services, materials technology and natural resources, as well as sustainability and development of a strategic sustainability roadmap. Effective in established global corporates through to start-ups where I have led and built companies from the ground up. Career Highlights Delivering a transformational strategic project in a global Environmental Services company, including organic and M&A growth. Designing and delivery of projects as a freelance management consultant that have translated directly into material value creation for clients. Leading Rutila Resources as Managing Director from foundation through to an $80 million take-over/privatisation. Instrumental as “Right-hand man” to the Chairman/CEO in growing Lynas Corporation, a rare earths producer, from a junior resource company with a market capitalisation of $12 million in 2002 to an ASX100 company in 2011 with a market capitalisation of over $3 billion. Four years at McKinsey & Company encompassing 15 studies including; operational reviews that decreased work-in-process by $300 million, organisational design studies which combined three entities controlling an annual budget of £4.6 billion, rollout of an EMEA wide sales strategy studies where forecast sales increased by over 40%, and business development where a new business unit was created with an NPV of £250 million.
