PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME I am not interested in moving anywhere; only remote positions (it's 2021 after all). MySQL has been my passion since I was first introduced to it in 1999. Since then, I've held many positions as a MySQL DBA, most in a remote capacity, varying from 1-2 server setups to over 10,000 servers in data centers around the globe. For the past several years, my focus has been on being a world-class trainer, expertly teaching the ins/outs of MySQL. I've been responsible for curation, creation, and delivery of MySQL-related training to companies all over the world. I also enjoy writing programs (web/utility) that interact with MySQL in PHP, bash, Go and sometimes C. My RedHat Certification and linux knowledge help with more in-depth troubleshooting and performance tuning with regards to MySQL. In my spare time, I volunteer teach group West Coast Swing dance lessons at a nearby dance studio and enjoy traveling around the nation to various dance competitions.
