With 26+ years of experience in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) programs of large organizations such as the EBRD, UNOV/UNODC, and the UN Secretariat, I am committed to using technology innovation and open-source culture to address pressing world problems. My background in law, business, and Master's in Information Technology, as well as my knowledge of emerging technologies and fintech, allows me to understand business needs and lead high-performing teams. I've implemented ICT strategies, performed business analysis, and developed innovative systems using emerging technologies, such as blockchain, biometrics and AI, in support to UN Member States in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. 60+ countries are using daily the tools built with my teams. I established the United Nations Technology Innovation Labs and focus on solutions for Member States on countering terrorism. Furthermore, I recently worked on establishing an Open Source Programme Office (OSPO) for the UN Secretariat's Office of Information and Communication Technology, leveraging strategic partnerships.
